New E-mail Campaign

Click on the graphic number 4 or "New E-mail Campaign" link at the top of the admin home page.

You will see a page similar to the one displayed below. 

• You can send your e-mail campaign to to all of the lists or selected lists by checking the check box to the left of the e-mail list categories.
• Optionally, if you would like to target specific e-mails addresses, simply click on the name of the e-mail list category to expand the list and select desired subscribers.

If "Manage | Create an E-mail Campaign" or "Edit List" link is click the following will be displayed. By default all e-mails will load as selected.  Select subscribers as desired and click on the "Execute" button.

After clicking the "Start Campaign" or "Execute" button the following page will load.

• Queued Email Category:  displays the name of the list(s) that are being targeted along with the estimated total subscribers that the e-mail will be sent to.
• Subject: Type in the desired subject of this e-mail sendout.  This will be displayed prominently in the recipients e-mail client. (synopsis of e-mail information displayed when a new e-mail arrives) 
• From:  Type in your company or individual name or an e-mail address.  This will be displayed prominently in the recipients e-mail client. (synopsis of e-mail information displayed when a new e-mail arrives).  Please note that your mail server may require an e-mail address that is local to your domain or that has been created as a POP e-mail account.  With the latter in mind a company or individual name used in this field may cause the e-mail TO NOT BE DEVLIVERED.
• Reply-To Email Address:  If a recipients replies to your  e-mail, this is the e-mail address in which the e-mail will be delivered. Bounced e-mails will not be delivered to this address.
• Select a sendout from below:  All of  text and HTML sendouts that have been previously created, will dynamically display in the select drop down box.  Simply select the sendout content that should be used for the e-mail that you are creating.
• When complete, click the "Next Step Preview Test" button. 

After clicking on the  "Next Step Preview Test" button, you will be able to review the passed information and select additional options:

• Send Test Email to: provide an e-mail address to which the e-mail will be delivered for testing and review purposes.
• Attachments: you be able to upload unlimited attachments after the initial e-mail sendout / campaign has been created.
• Personalize E-mail?: select this option to include the subscriber's first & last name in the e-mail content. (Example: Dear John Smith,) Displayed only if provided in the subscriber's account.
• Select tracking option: select this option to track the click throughs of bonafide URL's within the e-mail message.  In order for this to work there must be a valid http:// domain.  If the recipient clicks on available URLs within the e-mail sendout, the IP and URL will be logged.  View the results at any time.
• Schedule E-mail Campaign:  click on the "Next" button to write and prepare the e-mail campaign to be delivered.   The e-mail will not be sent at this time.  The application will write all of the e-mail recipients, e-mail addresses, first and last name as applicable to a text file that will be imported when the final e-mail campaign is sending.
